Designed for surface or flush mounted applications, the Power Pad electromagnetically resonates within the SAE J2954 frequency band and is equipped with parking alignment sensor technology. The specialized polycarbonate mesh top is reinforced around the perimeter by an aluminum bezel and provides impact resistance up to 20,000 GAWR (gross axle weight rating). Water-tight and certified for harsh environments, this device is built for home garages and public streets alike.

Mountable on nearly any location within an electric vehicle, this device converts wireless energy from the Vehicle Pad to the DC voltage being demanded by the main battery. It also interfaces with the battery management system (BMS), which communicates voltage and current requirements to the Power Station through a local, secure, proprietary wireless interface.

Guardian Detection

Advanced Living and Foreign Object Detection

Specialized infrared technology detects potentially dangerous metallic objects emplaced on top of the Power Pad during wireless power transfer. The Guardian also uses motion and thermal identifying technology to detect living objects on or around the Power Pad before and during a charging session. If either type of detection occurs, the charging session is safely discontinued with an alert projected on the Power Station LED display and a message sent to the user via the Journey mobile app.
